Hochschule Kehl
Kehl University of Applied Sciences specializes in research into the legal and administrative framework conditions for hydrogen infrastructures along the hydrogen value chain. Through interdisciplinary research and cooperation with various players from politics, administration and industry in Germany, France and Switzerland, the research results are application-oriented with the aim of contributing to the most efficient process design possible.

The Kehl School of Public Administration is a training ground and guarantor of outstanding training for qualified specialists in public administration, which plays an important role in promoting social justice, the common good of society and sustainable development both regionally and worldwide.
As part of the Hydrogen Bridges project funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment, the university is analyzing the legal and administrative issues relating to cross-border hydrogen transport infrastructures between Germany, France and Switzerland. This should serve as a legal-administrative basis for the relevant players and can thus be used directly for the connection of industrial sectors with high hydrogen demand through a cross-border linking of hydrogen networks and thus contribute to an acceleration.
Kehl University of Applied Sciences is also involved in the Interreg project CO2Inno, which is investigating sector coupling between Germany and France. In this context, the regulatory framework conditions for the use of hydrogen for industrial processes and the transport sector are being examined in particular.
