Plagazi AB
Plagazi AB designs, develops, licenses and operates plasma gasification plants for the production of hydrogen from waste. Fossil, non-recyclable & biogenic waste streams are upgraded in the process to H2 and CO2 for use in industry and/or transportation. Vitrified slag and metal can also be recovered in the process as part of a closed loop economy.

Founded in Sweden, Plagazi is working to develop the circular economy by converting non-recyclable waste into circular hydrogen through plasma gasification. The circular hydrogen has a high purity in industrial quality and can be used for fuel cells or fed directly into industrial processes.
Plagazi’s business model is the planning, development and construction of plasma gasification plants. The company offers its customers a turnkey plant, including the supply of raw materials, operational support and a revenue stream from hydrogen sales.
The current flagship project is the GÄVLE CIRCULAR PARK in Sweden, which is scheduled to go into operation in 2028. As one of the largest H2 projects in Europe, the park will produce 12,000 tons of circular hydrogen from 66,000 tons of non-recyclable waste every year and supply the community with 10 MW of district heating.
In Germany, two Plagazi plants are to be built in cooperation with Neue Energien Premnitz (NEP), a subsidiary of Richter Recycling.
