ITG (Infrastruktur-Trägergesellschaft mbH & Co. KG) is shaping the energy transition and proactively helping to achieve Baden-Württemberg’s ambitious climate neutrality target by 2040.
To this end, the company is driving the energy optimization and modernization of companies and industrial parks in southern Baden through investments in innovative and interconnected infrastructure and communication elements. Suitable concepts are being developed and tested.
Hydrogen has been a key focus since 2020. The cross-border ramp-up of the hydrogen economy in the Germany-Switzerland-France border triangle was initiated with broad participation from trinational stakeholders such as chambers of commerce, energy suppliers, climate protection organizations, and companies. In 2022, ITG was the originator and midwife of the Trinational Hydrogen Initiative 3H2.
Numerous hydrogen projects have since been launched in the Basel-Waldshut, Freiburg, and Kehl clusters. More are to come.
