Haas Engineering GmbH & Co. KG
Haas Engineering is particularly active in hydrogen technology and implements regenerative Power-to-X projects, contributes to the hydrogen-based mobility transition, and plans for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Haas Engineering, a Bernard Group company, and its engineers are tackling the major challenge of sustainable use of limited resources. With over 20 years of expertise, the company is implementing regenerative Power-to-X projects, specifically in hydrogen technology, contributing to the hydrogen-based mobility transition, and planning for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
In the energy sector, the aim is to combine hydrogen production – specifically green H2 generated by hydropower plants – photovoltaic systems and the offshore wind industry with hydrogen storage, reconversion, storage, and distribution. In addition to its many years of experience with hydrogen, Haas Engineering also draws on its many years of experience in power plant and plant construction. For example, Haas Engineering is involved in the project Reallabor H2-Whylen.
In the mobility sector, Haas Engineering supports transition projects to renewably produced hydrogen for all types of mobility, such as cars, buses, heavy-duty transport, and rail transport. Its many years of experience in mobility infrastructure planning includes international projects in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France. Haas Engineering is involved, for example, in the H2-Forschungstankstelle in Freiburg and the H2-Deponie Eichelbuck.
For the chemical, pharmaceutical, paint, and coatings industries, Haas Engineering plans the entire energy and media infrastructure for individual applications, including media supplies such as nitrogen and hydrogen.
In the gas infrastructure sector, Haas Engineering offers a single-source service for pipeline-based hydrogen transport and storage projects. With over 30 years of experience in oil and gas infrastructure projects in the areas of civil engineering, plant construction, process engineering, electrical engineering, and permit management, Haas Engineering has been supporting its clients in pipeline construction for hydrogen infrastructure for seven years.
