Review: Hydrogen projects – from vision to reality.

On 11 June, we went to Speyer to learn about the successful implementation of hydrogen projects.

We gained practical insights into every stage of the project cycle, from funding and planning to electrolysis, commissioning and operational optimisation. This demonstrated the importance of strong partnerships and interdisciplinary collaboration for project success.

Further discussion and networking provided an opportunity to share experiences, develop new contacts and explore future project ideas.

Special thanks go to our hosts and co-organisers, Marcus Rübsam (CibusCell) and Clemens Bruder (INP), and to the speakers: Dieter Sommerhalter (ITG), Stefan Trummer (INP), Christof Winker (Enapter), Marc Liegl (ST Engineering), Franz Bergmeier (Kyros), Olaf Schäfer-Welsen (naturenergie) and Christoph Armbruster (BadenovaWÄRMEplus). They all demonstrated the valuable experience that we already possess in implementing hydrogen projects.

The 3H2 Initiative hopes that this meeting in Speyer will lead to valuable discussions and new ideas, and of course to hydrogen projects that will further the development of the hydrogen economy. Thank you to all participants for the inspiring contributions and constructive discussions!
