With their locations in Birsfelden and Muttenz, they are now a central hub for mineral oil logistics. As a location for the energy industry, the Rhine ports are geared towards the transshipment, production, storage, and transport of all types of goods (including hazardous goods). The Rhine ports have excellent connections to the national rail and road networks for national logistics.
