In the developing hydrogen market, INP supports industry, energy suppliers, grid operators, project companies and hydrogen customers in the realization of their H₂ projects along the value chain. Planning is holistic, independent and manufacturer-neutral in accordance with customer requirements and objectives.
INP has been and is involved in over ten hydrogen projects with different focuses. The plants range from decentralized plants with a few megawatts to large-scale electrolysis projects with over 50 MW. The first plants are in operation (Berlin, Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate, etc.). Further plants are at an advanced stage of planning or under construction. These include projects in North Rhine-Westphalia, Stuttgart, Bavaria, eastern Germany, Switzerland and offshore. The company has also carried out feasibility studies and concept studies, from which further projects are currently being developed.
