For more than 160 years, the DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water) has been the competence network for all questions relating to the supply of gas and drinking water – as a recognized standard setter for the industry, as the technical and scientific know-how provider and as an initiator and promoter of research projects and innovations.
With his work, he is setting the course for the energy system of tomorrow. The DVGW’s particular focus is on climate-neutral gases and hydrogen, the energy carrier of the future. The goal: decarbonizing the gas supply while simultaneously ensuring maximum security of supply.
The DVGW ebi is the DVGW research center at the Engler-Bunte Institute of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where research into hydrogen technologies is conducted. The research center’s laboratories offer their expertise in testing products for gas use and distribution, as well as in fuel analysis.
