Second call for proposals ‘Electrolysers ELY’
50 million euros from the Department for Environment to promote the production of green hydrogen through the establishment of regional electrolysers and hydrogen hubs.

The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment is continuing the state funding programme ‘Electrolysers (ELY)’ in 2026 with a second round of funding. The aim is to produce green hydrogen locally by setting up regional electrolysers and hydrogen hubs. Over 50 million euros are available for the current 2026 funding call. The deadline for submitting applications is 18 May 2026.

The funding is aimed in particular at projects that:
• contribute to regional hydrogen production from renewable energies,
