The innovation agency e‑Mobil BW has published a study in collaboration with Fraunhofer ISE and Ludwig‑Bölkow‑Systemtechnik that provides a factual basis and an analysis of key parameters for hydrogen supply in Baden‑Württemberg.

The study examines the various factors influencing hydrogen production costs and summarizes the current state of knowledge on demand, import corridors, supply options and willingness to pay for hydrogen in Baden‑Württemberg.
It focuses on potential hydrogen supply regions as well as on costs and prices, considering possible exporting countries and import corridors. The study discusses the main influencing factors and uncertainties affecting hydrogen costs and prices, the willingness to pay of potential customers, and the role of hydrogen derivatives in the state’s future supply.
