The international hybrid workshop “Fuel Cell MEA Design” will take place on October 10 and 11, 2024. This event will take place both on-site at Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg and online.

What you can expect:

• Discover the future designs of fuel cell membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) and their components: What will the MEA of the future look like? Which materials will make it durable, cost-effective and powerful, which formats are possible and what is the optimal manufacturing process?

• Discuss with leading experts from science and industry, including Prof. Jürgen Schumacher from the ZHAW School of Engineering and Dr. Michael Ulsh from the US Department of Energy (DoE).

• Learn more about successful use cases and current trends in MEA architectures from an international perspective.

• Share your criteria for MEA design and work on solution strategies for your projects in panel discussions with experts.

• Take part in a lab tour at Fraunhofer ISE to see experimental setups.
